Description
Lebensdauerprognose mit Kenngrößen der örtlichen Beanspruchungsmatrix
FKM 1998
Booklet No. 238
Project No. 187
Abstract:
This project utilized the test results compiled in the Lifetime Prediction I and 11 projects to clarify the relationships between component, material and load. The result of this investigation is a regression equation that can be used to draw direct conclusions about the service life from estimated material parameters, the component description and the load via a notch simulation - without damage assessment. This service life calculation method is implemented in usable PC programs. The service life prediction method proves to be very robust and accurate. It is relatively insensitive to inaccurate input variables and reacts to different material groups or loads with only a slight change in accuracy. Scope of report:
91 pages including 17 figures, 6 tables and 4 appendices Start of work:
01.04.1994 End of work:
30. 11. 1997 Funding body:
