Methoden und Hilfsmittel zur Senkung der Entsorkungskosten als Teil der Produkt-Gesamtkosten
FKM 1997
Booklet No. 226
Project No. 189
Abstract:
The project almost doubled the size of the data collection of test results on fatigue strength created with Fatigue Life Prediction I. It contains around 350 Wöhler lines and 2000 horizons of fatigue strength tests. It contains around 350 Wöhler lines and over 2000 horizons of fatigue strength tests. 72 load sequences are stored in a standardized format. The entire data collection is available on CD-ROM. The data collection was used to provide input for the strength verification guideline. This concerned the estimation of component fatigue strength and the comparison with other synthetic S-N curve systems. At the same time, the effect of estimated Wöhler curves on the accuracy of a service life prediction was investigated and correction factors were proposed. The analysis of the data collection resulted in the proposal of calculation groups. They differ in terms of material and type of load and have significantly different mean values of the damage sums. This makes it possible to select the damage sum to be applied, which increases the accuracy of a service life prediction. The extended data collection was also used to carry out a more thorough comparison of the accuracy of service life predictions according to the local and nominal stress concept. Scope of report:
84 pages including 27 images, 10 tables and 5 appendices Start of work:
