    Description

    Machine condition data Cluster 1: Earth-moving machinery | DE-German

The overall objective of the earth-moving machinery cluster is to create a uniform understanding of the definitions in ISO 15143. Some of the parameters in the ISO standard are not sufficiently specific. This creates a scope for interpretation that allows different definitions on the part of the OEMs and thus causes corresponding isolated solutions (data silos) on the part of the users.
For the users of the machines, a meaningful use, a cross-manufacturer comparison and a connection of the machine condition data to internal systems and processes is therefore only possible with great difficulty or not at all.
In order to increase the usability as well as the application possibilities of the data, the parameters and their meaning must be regulated in detail and clearly together with all participants, from the manufacturer to the service provider to the end user.
This should create a clear added value for the user of the machine condition data defined in ISO 15143-3. Manufacturers benefit from the possibility of a targeted and manufacturer-independent definition. This creates standards and subsequently avoids isolated solutions and individual manufacturers' own interpretations.
The following requirements were taken into account in the development of the standard:

    - The ISO standard is the default and no modification of existing fixed definitions may take place.

    - The following earth-moving machines are considered: Excavators, wheel loaders, dozers, dumpers, graders and compactors.

    - The definitions refer to the data interface from the OEM server. Data acquisition and data transmission to or from the machine are not part of this cluster.

    About the Authors

    The framework
With currently 105 members from seven European countries, the Machines in Construction MiC 4.0 working group is the largest network organisation and central body in Europe concerned with a uniform digital language and a common understanding of data content and its meaning.

    The problem
Every construction equipment manufacturer has its own "digitalisation model".
Users have to create individual solutions themselves, which is time-consuming and costly.

    The goal
A cross-manufacturer and cross-industry understanding and comprehensive communication of digital condition, process and quality data along the entire construction process.
"MiC 4.0 conformity" of construction machinery and building material plants in the digital environment
A uniform data format for users and operators of machinery

    The solution
Joint development of solutions regarding data, data format and data transmission
    Transmission of ISO standard-compliant data
    Manufacturer-independent and machine-type-independent data format

    PDF

Model contracts or Technical Documents by EHEDG or FEM are available as editable pdfs, in some cases also as Word files.

    Online Reader

This is technically an alternative to the PDF. In essence, the licensee acquires the right to read the document, which is extended by several functions.
